SI South Perth members got together for an afternoon of fun and creativity at our annual wreathmaking activity for ANZAC Day. Cecilia was our leader and teacher and the end result was quite magnificent.
The following morning we enjoyed a lovely service at the City of South Perth and heard from an inspiring group of speakers including students from Fountain (Nahide Ciftci, Elif Altunkopre & Elif Su Sevil) and Penrhos (Sian Kelly) Colleges.
We were also treated to a piper while the wreathes were being laid and bugler Rory Watson from Aquinas College played the Last Post for the third year running. There was a very large crowd and everyone was pleased to be able to share in this very special event.
