Tuesday 25 November begins 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, taking place each year from 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) until 10 December (International Human Rights Day).
It is a global campaign for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls. There are various events being held around WA and the rest of the world.
Every year, Western Australians unite at the March Against Domestic and Family Violence, now in its 35th year. On Tuesday, 25 November 2025, we’re coming together at Forrest Place to show our commitment to ending men’s violence against women and children, to honour victims, and to show our support to victims’ families and to women and children who continue to live in fear.
