SISP Orange Cafe

The Orange Café event is a social gathering but also a small part of our advocacy and to “…Engage in behaviour change work focusing on the message that eliminating gender-based violence benefits everyone…” (from SI Position Paper “Where We Stand – Gender Based Violence).

The Orange Café concept asks members to meet in a café on the 25th of the month and wear orange when they are out and about. The 25th is nominated as it has been proclaimed as ‘Orange Day’ by the UniTE campaign to end violence against women.
